Description
A point about 4 km S of Artarmon and about 1 km NW by N of Simmons Point.
Origin
The name refers to the shape of the peninsula and has been used since as early as 1800. The aboriginal word is said to be Yurulbin. (Maritime Services Board Port of Sydney. Vol 9 No 3 Sept 1965) (See also Millin B Origin of Names in Port Jackson Journal RAHS)
