Description
Evans Head Light Trigonometrical Station is located towards the north- eastern side of South Evans Head 200 metres to the west of Half Tide Inlet 600 metres north of Red Hill Beach and 850 metres south-east of Evans Head Trigonometrical Station. TS 12053.
Origin
The Trig. Station was established in 1976 and commissioned on 23 January 1976 by the Commonwealth Department of Transport. Evans Head Light Trig Station consists of a flashing light mounted atop a 4-metre high structure which has a signal visible for up to 19 nautical miles.
