A watercourse about 4 km long that rises near the junction of Buffalo Road with Lane Cove Road and flows generally SE then E to join the Lane Cove River about 250 mts SE of Sugarlaof Hill.
Origin
Probably named after H.M.S. Buffalo a ship on which Captain Raven and Captain Kent both landholders in Ryde sailed. Page 13 A Place of Pioneers by Phillip Geeves 1970.
