History
Name was proposed by Mr Ian Willis of Camden as part of the Upper Nepean Catchment Management Committees creek naming competition which was completed in March 1997.
Description
A gully which runs from an area in Narellan Vale about 1.6 km NE of the Camden Bypass bridge over Richardson Road at Narellan. The gully is about 2.0 km in length and flows in a generally northerly direction to its point of confluence with Narellan Creek. This point is about 1.7 km ESE of the Northern Road bridge over Narellan Creek.
Origin
William Howe (.......... - ..........) was a dairy pioneer and Superintendent of Police who was granted 3000 acres in 1818. The gully runs through this area. (Jervis J R A H S Journal Vol. 22 1937 p. 344 Narellan Parish Map Bayley W History of Campbelltown 1974)
