Name Nicholas Ridge current in the 1870s. On the 1862 county map there is a block marked NICHOLAS LAGOON R and the lagoon (now named Nicholsons Lagoon but not named on the 1862 map). On later county maps the lagoon is named Nicholas Lagoon and St. Nicholas holding/homestead is shown on portion 229 Parish of Grenfell.
