Description
Has its watershed in the Great Dividing Range about 25 miles south south east of Armidale and flows thence generally in a northerly and north easterly direction to its junction with Saumarez Creek thence easterly to its junction with Bakers Creek where it takes the identity of Macleay River. Major tributaries are Saumarez Creek Mihi Creek and Gara River. Rises about 4 km NNW of Green Mountain.
