History
George Caley a Botanist employed by Sir Joseph Banks was the first recorded explorer to view the basin from the look-out on the 4th Dec. 1802. A plaque will be erected on the site and the inscription there *
Description
A lookout within Bents Basin State Recreation Area. It lies about 1km S of Ravenswood trigonometrical station and about 4km E of Silverdale (locality).
