Mount Annan (HILL), NSW Details

Description

A hill about 2.0 km E by N of Bergins Weir and about 2.9 km NNW of Menangle Sugarloaf.

Origin

There seem to be two possibilities to account for the name. Both involve contemporary Scotsmen George Johnson and William Howe who had connections with the Annandale district of Scotland. (Information supplied by Mount Annan Botanical Gardens P.J.Mylrea `Naming of Mount Annan` August 1994). see file GNB4540.

repeating-linear-gradient()

The repeating-linear-gradient() CSS function creates an image consisting of repeating linear gradients. It is similar to linear-gradient() and takes the same arguments, but it repeats the color stops infinitely in all directions so as to cover its entire container. The function's result is an object of the <gradient> data type, which is a special kind of <image>.
