Description
A hill about 4 km E of Dungarubba (village) and about 3 km NW by W of the village of Rileys Hill.
Origin
Named after Captain Ben Alley who was associated with ships trading to the Richmond for forty-three years prior to his death in 1911. During this time he was in charge of both sailing and steam-driven vessels. Captain Alley owned land at Rileys Hill. (Rich.Twd.Reg.Lib. & Rich.R. Hist.Soc. 1983).
