History
Originally assigned by mistake as Franks Creek erratum published in NSW Government Gazette on 24 August 2001 corrected this error.
Description
Mostly perennial stream rising north of Lake Wentworth. It flows generally N.E for about 4km through Ashcroft Ravine into Wentworth Creek.
Origin
Robert James Napier Franki born in 1875 and employed as a Consulting Electical Engineer for the Blue Mountains City Council in 1927. During 1931 a 66KV transmission line was constructed from Lawson to Mount Wilson. Names along this transmission line were to honour those who helped to establish this feature.
