Description

A headland reserve at the southern end of Fingal Bay situated in Marine Drive and Pacific Road.

Origin

To commemorate the Barry family in particular the late Mrs. Phyllis Barry The Barry family was one of the first to move into the area in 1929 and pioneered the opening up of Fingal Bay. Mrs Barry and her husband were the first of four generations of Barrys reared on the area.
