History

Description
Partly perennial stream rising about 3 km ease of Kingsmill Mountain. It flows west of north for about 14 km by the village of Currabubula where it changes generally to a north west direction for about a further 25 km. Its course becomes indefinite on the plains about 9.6km north north east of Breeza as it approaches the Mooki River.

Origin
All the names follow from the creek name first recorded by Major Mitchell in 1831 and possibly in use by squatters for a year or two before this.
