Heads of Red Creek (STREAM), NSW Details
Description
Non-perennial watercourses running generally Easterly and rising in several mountains about 14 km SSW of Gunnedah. (Messrs. Ward Bros. of Mullamuddy Gunnedah residents for over 20 years do not recognise the name. The local name appears to be either Wards Creek or Wards Gully and Mr. A. Ward has also heard it called Limestone Creek or Gully because of small limestone deposits in the area. Neither name appeals - why not King Jack Creek?) D/S TAMWORTH
