Description

A small sandy beach beside the Murrumbidgee River about 2 km south west of Gundagai and 1500 metres west of South Gundagai.

Origin

Said to have been named after the Deighton family. Note that Caroline Deighton took up portion 455 about 500 metres west of this beach.
