Description
A reserve extending along both sides of Bardwell Creek from Preddys Road in Bexley North to Hannam Street in Arncliffe. Note: This proposal includes an area which was assigned the name Bardwell Creek Reserve in 1977. It also includes areas which have local but not official names such as Kingsland Road Reserve Binamittalang Garden Coolibah Reserve Jubilee Park (Arncliffe Jubilee park Broadford Street Reserve Vernon Road Reserve Bardwell Valley Golf Course and Bexley Golf Course.
Origin
Bardwell Valley Parklands. The area is in the historical locality of Bardwell Valley. Rockdale Council wanted a single name for all the open space in the valley so that the profile of the area would be seen as a major park in the Sydney metropolitan region.
