A watercourse about 38 km long. It rises near Three Brothers TS about 16 km SE of Blayney and flows generally N then NE into the Macquarie River.

Named by Governor Macquarie on 8th May 1815 as Princess Charlottes Valley The name is also recorded in Governor Lachlan Macquaries journal of a Tour to the New Discovered Country in April 1815 (pg 102 103-4) of Journals of his tours in New South Wales and Van Diemans Land 1810-1822 Sydney Trustees of the Public Library of New S
