A partly perennial stream rising about 1 km NE of McLeans Ridges. It flows generally south for about 20 km into Hendersons Drain which in turn flows into Tuckean Broadwater.

The older spelling of this word is Miram.Miram resembles the Bundja- lung for:1.chest or stomach;2.alive;3.madama respectful form of address when speaking to an oldernon-kin woman.The word Marom also resembles the word mahr for duck.(Rich.Twd.Reg.Lib. & Rich.R.Hist. Soc.1983).
