A village at the junction of Colless Warrambool and Baradine Creek about 13 km S of Five Mile Point. (spelling: Come By Chance). Boundaries shown on map marked GNB 3817

Name given by George and William Colless when in 1862 they found to their surprise that they were able to purchase a sheep station in this district.
