Gol Gol North Creek (CHANNEL), NSW Details
History
The channel was constructed after the 1956 flood. DWR recommended that it be assigned the name Gol Gol Channel for licensing purposes but local land users objected preferring this locally used name.
Description
A part man made part artificially improved watercourse flowing for about 5 km between the end of Gol Gol Creek to a point west of Gol Gol Lake. The man made channel is in two secions one at Gol Gol Creek (being the channel off-take) and one from the eastern corner of Gol Gol Lake take off.
