Cameron Corner (TRIG. STATION), NSW Details
History
On 8-10 April 1969 a permanent concrete mark was erected and on 11 June 1969 it was unveiled by Hon. T.L. Lewis Minister for Lands NSW and representatives from other states. (see CMA 55/11/585)

A Geodetic Station indicating the corner of South Australia NSW and Queensland. TS7307
Origin
John B. Cameron (1843-1897) surveyed the NSW-Queensland border in 1881 and cut and placed wooden post every mile along the border and placed a wooden post to mark the intersection of NSW Queensland and South Australian borders.
