Description
A locality about 5 km NE by N of Badgelly Trig. Station and about 4 km NW of Minto. Boundaries within the Campbelltown Council area shown on map GNB4174.
Origin
Varro Ville was the name given by Dr Robert Townson to a grant near Minto. It was named after Marcus Terentius Varro an ancient Roman writer of a great number of books of which only three on agriculture and stock farming survive. (Suggested Names for SuburbsNeighbourhoods and Localities; Campbelltown City Council 1973)
