History
The national park was proclaimed on 22 December 1995 in Gov Gaz 158 folio 8824. It absorbs part of Herveys Range Wandawandong and Bumberry State Forest and Currumbenya Nature Reserve.
Description
A national park of about 32700 ha which is spread across the following topographical maps: Peak Hill Alectown Cumnock Parkes and Molong. It extends south from the most northerly corner of Por 37 Ph Biridoo Co of Narromine to the most southerly point in Por 133 Ph Bumberry Co of Ashburnham. The most westerly point is in Por 22 Ph Hervey Co of Narromine. The most easterly section is a point 1.1 km SE of Benya Trig Station.
