History
Name adopted by Council at its meeting on 14 June 1994.
Description
A reserve on the corner of Haynes Avenue and Ryans Road at Umina. It occupies Lot 75 of DP 26224.
Origin
Named after an early landholder H A Vernon who according to the Ph of Patonga map was the grantee of Por 94 of 160 acres. The reserve is within the parcel of land granted to Vernon in 1911.
