Description

A locality about 8 km E by S of Elsmore and about 12 km SW by W of Swan Vale. Boundaries within the Inverell Council area shown on map GNB3654.

Origin

Newstead station was settled in 1836 by Edward Clerk and John Rankin Anderson took over Newstead in 1840 it was split into Newstead North and South and was divided between families in 1850s or 1860s.

repeating-linear-gradient()

The repeating-linear-gradient() CSS function creates an image consisting of repeating linear gradients. It is similar to linear-gradient() and takes the same arguments, but it repeats the color stops infinitely in all directions so as to cover its entire container. The function's result is an object of the <gradient> data type, which is a special kind of <image>.
