History
Name suggested by Kate Dengler-Moll in naming competition conducted in 1994 by Cattai Catchment Management Committee.
Description
A stream rising in the area bounded by Fuggles Road Fuggles Lane and Pitt Town Road Kenthurst and flowing generally north north westerly for 7 km to its confluence with OHaras Creek in the proposed OHaras Creek Nature Reserve.
Origin
Scaly Bark a common name for Eucalyptus Squamosa. The stream is named after the Scaly Bark a common eucalypt found on the ridges and slopes surrounding the creek.
