Original land grant made to James Whalan in 1831. Purchased by the Lethbridge family who were related by marriage to Governor King. Property sold to RAAF in 1942 who on sold it in 1951.

A Suburb about 3.5km North of Colyton and about 5km WNW of Rooty Hill. Boundaries within the Blacktown Council area shown on map GNB3725. Previous boundaries shown on map GNB2697/F
