History
Name first appears on 1975 First Edition Topographic Map although name has never been presented to Board. Council in its letter of 2 September 1998 has confirmed the name.
Description
A watercourse rising about 2 km north-north-east of Coraki. It is fed by a drain which joins the creek from the north-west and flows generally south-east for about 1.5 km into the Wilsons River about 2 km north-east of Coraki.
Origin
Thought to be named after a previous owner Peter Centennial Thomas (.....1888-......1950) who purchased land through which the creek runs in December 1913. He resided there until his death and the property remained in the family until l990. (Letter from Richmond River Historical Society of 22 November 1999).
