History
In 1987 Council asked that Jean Todkill Park be assigned for the name of the area. They wanted to commemorate the name of the individual rather than the family. Board assigned Todkill Park.
Description
A reserve with its frontage on Goulburn Street Crookwell. It is situated on lots 3 4 5 and 8 of DP 720172. Kiamma Creek flows through the reserve.
Origin
Edna Jean (Jean) Todkill (25.10.1914 - 23.06.1986) represented Crookwell in State championships 1935-36 was a patron of the womens hockey association umpire zone selector and president and captain of the St Marys (Crookwell) club in the 1940s and 1950s. She sold land to the Council for use as sporting grounds.
