Description
A rocky eminence overlooking the valley of the Clyde and Yadboro Rivers surrounded by an escarpment rising up to 400 feet. It is about 4km north west of the junction of yadboro River with the Clyde River.
Origin
Prominent mesa named and sketched by Surveyor Robert Hoddle 1828 overlooks Yadboro Valley. Surveyor Florance called it Pompeys Pillar.
