Boundaries within the Inverell Council area shown on map GNB3654.
Origin
Presumably a station named by Dr John Goodwin in 1839 after the Swanbrook Creek. It was presumably part of the Byron Station in the highest part of the Macintyre Valley. (See letter of 20-1-97 on file GNB3654).
