Description
A partly perennial stream rising on E slopes of Richmond Range about 8 km W of Mount Ida. It flows generally E for about 14 km into Richmond River at Rukenvale.
Origin
Aboriginal. A Djurbil (a ritual increase site) for yams and favourable winds existed midway upstream; Djurbils for locusts and koalas were at the head of the creek. (Keats;1988;p.51)
