History
According to Amos Douglass (1896-1998) this name was applied to this watercourse by the pioneers and used when he was a youngster. (Paull K letter 24 September 1997)
Description
A gully starting 6.6 km ENE of Mount Baxter and 3.5 km NW of the junction of Waratah and Bloodtree roads. It is 1.7 km in length and flows in a generally northerly direction into Warre Warren Creek.
Origin
The origin of this name is unknown. It was proposed in response to the Mangrove Mountain Bicentennial Naming Project. (Paull K letter 24 September 1997)
