History
Name proposed by Mrs Martin through the Mangrove Mountain Districts Community Group. Name supported by the Darkinjung Local Aboriginal Land Council Gosford Council Forests and NP&WS.
Description
A creek which rises in Lot 1 of DP 571083 about 2.7 km NW of Popran Trigonometrical Station. It is 3.4 km in length and flows in a generally westerly direction to its confluence with Warre Warren Creek.
Origin
Many generations of the Bromfield family have been prominent in this area. The surname appears amongst the early landholders listed in the area on the map of the Parish of Kooree.
