Named after Kerryn McCann (dob 2.5.1967 - dod 8.12.2008) an Olympic athlete who represented Australia at three Olympic games in 1996 2000 and 2004. Kerryn was recognised world wide for her inspirational sporting achievements. Kerryn started her running career in Wollongong and often competed at this facility.
