A watercourse about 2 km long rising at Appin Road Rosemeadow and travelling in easterly direction through the suburb of St Helens Park to its confluence with the Georges River.
Origin
Commemorates George Mansfieldcolonial architect. Mansfield was architect to the Council of Education and disigned Campbelltown Public School. Mansfield had a close association with the area and owned land surrounding the creek.He Designed St Helens Park House situated just north of the creek in 1887.[Tim CarrollCampbelltown City Council].
