Description
A locality between the southern banks of the Peel River and Oxley Highway about 10km E of Somerton. Boundaries shown on map marked GNB 3797
Origin
This locality was formerly known as Bubbogullion Reserve and was surveyed by Arthur Dewhurst 5th December 1859. The town Bective later established on this reserve was laid out by Surveyor Fields 20th January 1861. (See also Bubbogullion Parish).
