Description
A locality which includes the Mount Warning National Park and the catchment of Korrumbyn Creek. Boundaries within the Tweed Council area shown on map GNB3810.
Origin
Named in 1770 by Captain Cook because after passing it in the Endeavour was carried perilously close to the rocky shoals of Point Danger. (Australian Place Names Kennedy 1992).
