Description
A reserve approx 3 hectares in area located at 2512 Freemantle Road Killongbutta about 30 km NW of Bathurst. The reserve is situated on a section of unused road reserve north and south of Corbys Creek. It contains two tennis courts and the Freemantle Rural Fire Service shed.
Origin
Named after Geoff Bennett (5.9.37-10.8.86) a member of the community who was a driving force in the establishment of the community recreation area. He loaned his plant equipment and materials and along with a small band of residents volunteered his labour to construct the tennis courts in 1983.
