Tetracompass (powered) - The RuneScape Wiki

Tetracompass (powered) detail.png

A tetracompass (powered) is an artefact[25] made from a tetracompass (unpowered)[26] when powering it next to the mysterious monolith[27] at the Archaeology Campus[28]. Observing it will cause it to behave as a compass clue[29]. Excavating at the correct location will give an ancient casket[30] and the compass will be consumed.

Unlike Treasure Trail clues, multiple tetracompasses can be started and ended on any time. If doing multiple tetracompasses at a time, make sure to click on each one to check for any potential duplicate spots. An easy way of knowing if you have multiples at the same spot is to right-click/ observe the last one in your inventory. Runescape will actually make the casket appear in one "in front of" it in your bag. If the last one disappears, then you know you have no more at that spot, and can move on repeating this process.

For information on training as well as profit making, see Tetracompass value[31].
